Coaching & software
Sean Riley
The strength coach Owen trains with, given the site his coaching actually reads like — and a real dashboard behind it, so the same build handles the software as well as the pages.

On a phone first
Most of the people who find this site are standing outside holding a phone. Every build gets designed at 390 pixels wide before it gets designed at 1440, and the phone layout is never the desktop one squeezed down.
What it had to do
Coaching sites nearly all look the same: bright, clean, a stock photo of a barbell and a booking button. Sean’s coaching isn’t that. It’s heavier and more austere than that, and it leans on Greek philosophy as a frame rather than as decoration. A cheerful template would have misrepresented the product.
What we built
- A dark, grainy, deliberately heavy front end — Greek-philosophy grunge, chosen to sort the audience rather than flatter everybody.
- A separate Coach HQ dashboard on Supabase behind it, so clients and programming live in a real database instead of a spreadsheet emailed around.
- One route in: the site sells the philosophy, the dashboard does the work, and nothing in between asks the visitor to make a decision twice.
Why it’s in the library
Because it’s the answer to the most common objection we get, which is some version of “can you actually build the thing behind the website?” A marketing page is a weekend. A dashboard with accounts, data and permissions is not, and this is the one we point at.
Honest about this one: Sean never commissioned it. We built it unprompted to show him what his coaching could look like, which is why it ships with search engines told to leave it alone until he says otherwise. Everything on it works — but treat it as a proposal, not a paid engagement.
